About the Project

Each August, Edinburgh’s streets become something rare — a truly shared space. Residents, visitors, artists and festival audiences move through the same places, stopping not because they have to, but because something draws them in.

This collection of images captures those moments. Not the performances themselves, but what happens around them. How attention is held. How public space transforms into a place of shared experience.
